Coach
ABOUT OLIVER VAJDA
As a young and eager athlete I found myself competing in MMA, boxing and BJJ tournaments. I excelled in many competitions capturing championship belts and medals. However, as I got older my competitions slowed as I started studies in Psychology at Simon Fraser University. While at SFU, I wrestled with the Burnaby Mountain Wrestling Club and the SFU NCAA team.
During my time training martial arts I began coaching kids and youth in kickboxing, jiu-jitsu and MMA. I have coached hundreds of kids over the years and have been the head coach of the kids and youth program for many years. To this day, I continue to advance my studies with the latest coaching workshops and certificates allowing me to give students my best.
My biggest satisfaction as a coach and instructor is when I see students help each other in class and become leaders. My passion lies in not only developing athletes and martial artists, but creating positive and confident leaders who can be role models for generations to come.
My goals for the future include getting my black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and using my degree in psychology to implement a curriculum around physical literacy and mental sport performance.”

ABOUT Rosie Madhaven
Rosaline Madhavan has been involved in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years. Her journey began while completing her Bachelors of Science Degree at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC. While living in the tournament capital of Canada she was directly involved in health and fitness program coordination and development while volunteering at local sports events.
Upon completing her degree she moved to Bonaire, NA to complete medical school at Saint James School of Medicine. While living on this beautiful island she decided to learn some new skills, she completed her open water diving through PADI, loves windsurfing and she participated in the Annual 800 meter swim to a small island called Klein Bonaire.
After her time in Bonaire she lived in Sacramento, CA, where she completed her Sport Yoga Certification, returning to Vancouver, BC, completing her 200HR Yoga Teacher Training and moved to Chicago, IL, for her clinical rotations for medicine.
During this time Rosaline enjoyed teaching her friends and family yoga, as well as at health fairs volunteer events and studios. Her passion for yoga and medicine allowed her to create a course called Biofunctional Anatomy and Physiology which is a course requirement for Naked Truth Yoga Teacher Training, she also teaches First Aid and completed her Thesis on the benefits of Far-infrared Yoga on Pain Reduction.
Rosaline has taught sport specific yoga and stretch classes in Chicago, Toronto and Vancouver for junior hockey, lacrosse, football and MMA participants. She is an instructor at Oxygen in New Westminster and with Yoga For Hockey, which is the very first company to develop training hockey athletes both online and in person.
Rosaline recently completed her Medical Degree and while awaiting her residency in Family Medicine, she is excited to be a part of the Unified Training Team to share her knowledge and skills towards building healthy bodies and minds.
